Cable Leading Covered Chains

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

The closed type of cable leading chains, are intended to protect the moving cables and hoses (used in hydraulics and pneumatics) against external influences in their reciprocating movement in a horizontal or vertical plane and also in combined movement. They provide:

  • a reliable protection against external influences
  • a longer lifetime
  • a silent movement
  • safety at work

CONDITION OF OPERATION

For normal operation of cable leading chains is necessary to respect the following conditions:

  • speed-limit of 20 m/min
  • ambient temperature of- 5-50°С
  • humidity environment- below 60%

Crossing and interweaving of cables in cable leading chains is not allowed, and the space within the chain should be filled with cables less then 80%. Creep and friction with machine surfaces are not allowed.

TYPES OF FLANGES

IMPLEMENTATION, DEPENING ON THE LOCATION OF THE FLANGES:

There is a resistance spot welding between the flanges, the outer tube and the reinforcing tape. It must provide an electrical resistance below 10 ohms.

Both chain flanges must be grounded to the common grounding of the machine, according to the requirements of Technical safety regulations.
